'Our' Josie... proud moments at the finishing line ....such an amazing and incredable achievement!
Running London-100miles in under 24hrs .....starting on Sat at 5pm running through the night finishing on Sunday at 3.30pm.....words are not enough to describe this monumental run.
We thank Josie as well as some of her family and friends, who ran part of the distances with Josie.
Grateful to all donations made to Para-Monte so far..£1181.25, which will go a long way towards further Altitude research programmes at both UoB/ARU universities.
A truly inspiring event for us all, always 'Living the Years' for/with our Adam.

The website is dedicated to Adam our son and brother, a fit healthy 25 year old young man, who lost his life to Altitude Sickness whilst travelling in Peru.
Adam’s loss should not be in vain (read his story) and we feel extremely passionate to spread the word about Altitude Illnesses globally, to ensure that people become more aware of the risks and dangers at altitude.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes served in the British Army for eight years, including a period on counter-insurgency service while attached to the Army of the Sultanate of Oman.
He later undertook numerous expeditions and was the first person to visit both the North and South Poles by surface means and the first to completely cross Antarctica on foot.
In May 2009, at the age of 65, he climbed to the summit of Mount Everest.
